About Me

A Safe Space for Healing

My name is Emma, and I am a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor. As a Humanistic Integrative Counsellor I take varied techniques and tools from different theories to offer the best direction for my clients. My sessions are always client led and will go at your pace while working collaboratively to provide you with kindness and autonomy.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP) which provides me with professional boundaries within the BACP Ethical Framework. I am fully insured and I am registered with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

I have gained experience working alongside clients with a range of mental health issues including low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma, bereavement, self-harm, PTSD, eating disorders and relationship difficulties. I have worked with a wide range of clients with an age ranging from 16-80 both within agency settings and Private Practice.

My Counselling Space

My therapy room is based in Queens House in Barnstaple. I offer face-to-face, online, and walk-and-talk sessions. My room is designed to provide a calm, comfortable environment where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts and feelings.

Prices

We can work to a tailored, flexible schedule that suits you. There is never any obligation to sign up to sessions. I do offer a reduced rate for trainee counsellors, key workers and have some sessions available at a reduced rate. Please inquire if you feel you may be eligible.

One-hour session£50.00

Sessions run for one hour and my fees are £50.00.
